Budapest, Hungary

We approached Budapest early in the morning. Peter assured us that we had the best vantage point from which to view the city and its most famous buildings and monuments: the middle of the Danube! Buda (the hilly one) and Pest (the flat one) are two distinct cities, connected by many bridges and their long-intertwined history.
