Nechama in New Orleans

Friday, July 28 - a days' work, an evening out

After doing as much as we could at the house for that day, we went back to base for badly needed showers. Then, after dinner, we joined an excursion to Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Those of us who aren't big drinkers didn't stay very late, so we didn't witness any of the really wild behavior the area is famous for. But, watching the people around us, we could easily imagine how the party scene must develop as the hours and hours of drinking add up.
